the weather is killing me.

for the past two days, when i walk out of home, i could smell an overwhelming stench of smoke. it hasn't failed once in making me choke and cough. when i look out of my window at night, i can't see any stars. all i see is layers and layers of thick smoke.

what is going on?

burning of incense paper? nah, isn't the seventh lunar month already over?

burning of houses/accidents? nah, haven't seen any brigades around.

burning of objects? nah, i don't recall having pyromaniacs near my neighbourhood.

so, the only possibility is : pollution

my geography syllabus comprises of this chapter. i was thinking: where did this smoke come from. news reporters are not doing their job. it must have travelled from some country to Singapore.

i'm going to talk about my social life now

i have been smsing and chatting with some of the people i met in the nco pre-camp. through the talking, i managed to know them much better. hopefully during the camp none would be unfamliar to each other, especially if it's for five days.

they're quite friendly, so to say. but i wouldn't want to create the impression that i'm an attention seeker (which i sometimes can be).

and yes, most of the nco camp flute players are girls. are you envious my school mates?

they're a couple of males too , but only a handful. and all the better players are males. yeah!

tonight i would be having a performance at my school. a flute quartet performance. have to get ready now. ciao!
